FRAMELINE 50: Iván & Hadoum

In a sprawling greenhouse industrial plant in southeastern Spain, desire, romance, and power collide. Iván, a forklift driver and trans man whose family legacy is deeply tied to the factory’s ownership, forms an unexpected connection with a newly hired produce packer, Hadoum. While Iván navigates the expectations placed on him to uphold that legacy, Hadoum, a cis woman, becomes a driving force in organizing the plant’s women workers to demand better conditions. Their budding and passionate romance offers a fleeting refuge from mounting pressures — until the outside world pushes in. When Iván is drawn into management’s efforts to contain the growing unrest, their bond is tested from both sides.
