FIRST COW (Eat Big)

Two travelers, on the run from a band of vengeful hunters in the 1820s Northwest, dream of striking it rich, but their tenuous plan to make their fortune on the frontier comes to rely on the secret use of a wealthy landowner’s prized dairy cow.

Eric Hyman, the longtime buyer for San Francisco’s beloved Waterbar Restaurant, presents his favorite food-centric films, all of which speak specifically to the experience of eating, gathering, preparing, & serving meals with community and/or family. Eric will introduce the movies as well as offer a few small goodies at each week’s screening.

We’ll share some bite-sized buttermilk biscuits made from NOT-stolen milk!
