EN EL SÉPTIMO DÍA, presented by El Tímpano

Calling all soccer fans and cinephiles! Oakland-based non-profit, El Tímpano, is hosting a screening of the film En El Séptimo Día — a critically acclaimed independent film about a group of Mexican immigrants working long hours six days a week, then savoring their day of rest on Sundays on the soccer fields of Brooklyn. The screening will be at the New Parkway Theater in Oakland on Sunday, May 31 at 12:30pm, and will include raffles from Oakland sports teams and information about local organizations supporting the East Bay’s immigrants.
