The New Parkway Theater sells an eclectic mix of diner-style comfort food for you to enjoy either in our cafe or while watching a movie (currently, our food offerings are only sold to those purchasing a ticket to the theater). We feature some local vendors and endeavor to provide good-quality un-unhealthy food (since it’s hard for comfort food to be healthy) at very reasonable prices. We also have twelve rotating taps with wine, beer, and cider, all from within 100 miles of Oakland. Our food and drink philosophy is to offer enough choices for every patron, but not too many that it becomes overwhelming or the quality suffers. We also always offer vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options on the daily menu, though not everything served will be suitable for everyone’s dietary restrictions. For political, environmental, and health reasons, we do not serve food that contains high-fructose corn syrup or palm oil, and most of our foods are prepared almost entirely in our own commercial kitchen.
