The New Parkway Theater sells an eclectic mix of diner-style comfort food for you to enjoy either in our cafe or while watching a movie. We feature some local vendors and endeavor to provide good-quality food at very reasonable prices. We also have twelve rotating taps with wine, beer, and cider, all from within 200 miles of Oakland.
Our food and drink philosophy is to offer enough choices for every patron, but not too many that it becomes overwhelming or the quality suffers. We also always offer vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options on the daily menu, though not everything served will be suitable for everyone’s dietary restrictions. For political, environmental, and health reasons, we do not serve food that contains high-fructose corn syrup, hydrogenated oils, or any palm oil products, and most of our foods are prepared entirely in our own commercial kitchen.

Our cafe hours are generally the following (but if we’re showing movies earlier, the cafe will be open):
Monday-Wednesday: 6-10pm
Thursday: 3:30-10pm
Friday: 3:30-11pm
Saturday: Noon-11pm
Sunday: Noon-10pm
As a general rule, we will open our doors 30 minutes before the first showing and lock our doors 30 minutes after the last show starts (some exceptions apply).
The kitchen will also close 30 minutes after the last show starts. Concession sales, including wine and beer, will remain open for one hour after the start of the last show.
